Family members suspect a middle-aged man, who had come to help Prasai in farming, might have murdered the girl. An eleven-year-old girl was found dead with her throat slit at her maternal uncle's home in Budhabare, Jhapa district Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Tanuja Koirala, the daughter of Chandra Koirala of Shantinagar-1 in Kamitaar, according to the Police Post, Budhabare. Tanuja had come to stay at the house of her maternal uncle, Dillram Prasai, five days ago after completing her grade five exams.
